McCrite Plaza Resident Mentioned on Late Night with Seth Meyers

As reported in our blog on March 20, 2017, Assisted Living resident Harold Facklam was honored by the Kansas Health Care Association with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Harold was recognized for donating over 32 gallons of whole blood throughout the last 68 years. The award earned him a front page story in the Topeka Capital Journal and from there was picked up nationally. The story has appeared in places such as The New York Times, MSN, ABC News, and most recently was featured on the television show, Late Night with Seth Meyers.

We are so honored to have incredible people such as Harold living in our McCrite Plaza Topeka community and it was a real treat to watch as the story was shared throughout the country.
